Barbershop Chorus Membership Drive

The Black Canyon Barbershop Chorus is conducting a membersip drive.       Men interested in singing with the group are welcome to visit at the regular practice held each Thursdy at 7 p.m. at the Olathe United Methodist Church, 518 Hersum, Olathe.  For more information, call Don at 249-3241.

On May 9, 2008, Montrose High School Student Council will host the May Festival of Talents.  This Festival will take place in the MHS Cafeteria from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and the public is invited.  The Festival will showcase student projects completed in pottery, art, woods, graphic design photography and auto mechanics.  There is no charge to attend the Festival, so plan to bring the entire family.

Lions Club carnival will be held May 8-11 at the Montrose Country Fairgrounds.  ADVANCED tickets for all day rides are available for $17 at Safeway, both City Market stores, Murdoch's, and Alpine Bank (east main location only).  Tickets will be $25 at the door.  Call 249-5666 for information.
