admin writes, "The Kiwanis Club of Montrose recently presented $1,000 scholarships to two Montrose High School graduating seniors. To be eligible for the scholarship, "
students must be senior members of the MHS Key Club. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. The 2005-2006 Key Club Scholarships were awarded to Lindsey Bailey, daughter of Rich and Sharon Bailey, and Emily Adams, daughter of Wayne and Chris Adams, at the Kiwanis Club weekly meeting at the Turn of the Century.
